**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist
**About the Role:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting complex issues, providing technical guidance to stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in architectural discussions to evaluate the applicability and usefulness of proposed solutions
* Support and implement solutions to ensure successful introduction across the organization and with clients
* Perform technical analysis and prepare recommendations as needed
* Liaise across all functional areas, including business units, IT departments, and outside vendors
**Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required
* 5+ years of related production support experience required, with experience in the securities or financial services industry a plus
* Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C++, Django, etc., with the ability to learn new languages
* Experience with various app/networking monitoring tools, such as Splunk, Appdynamics, Prometheus, etc.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with global teams
**Nice to Have:
* Advanced proficiency in DevOps, Agile, and Lean
* Business knowledge of securities, fund accounting, collateral, and tri-party repo preferred but not required
* Experience in platform engineering, cloud, virtual, MQ, database, network, ITIL, service management preferred
