About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking IT Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a comprehensive digital marketing agency that offers month-to-month services for brands looking to expand their presence across various digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees, both onsite and remote. They will serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. Additionally, they will manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various SaaS platforms, support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools, and monitor and maintain endpoint security.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a working level of spoken and written English, proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. They should also possess deep knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems, and cloud platforms, as well as strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Furthermore, they should be able to communicate solutions clearly and train non-technical users. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience/certifications) is also required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or Google IT Support Professional Certificate are a plus.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently, and have experience with endpoint management, SaaS administration, and automation tools. They should also be familiar with cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, VPNs, patch management, and incident response. Additionally, they should be able to document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices.
