Job Responsibilities:
* Requirement gathering, analyzing, and updating, including discussions with onsite counterparts and clients to develop and finalize the requirements.
* System-level requirement writing and finalizing technical profiles requirements.
* Analyzing input documents, high-level feature boundary diagrams, determining subfunction decomposition, and confirming compatibility with the application.
* Providing help/support for overall model development and process improvement.
* Optimizing and debugging, with strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
* Developing tools/scripts to improve overall productivity and process automation.
* Practicing coding guidelines, processes, and standards.
* Reviewing contents/artifacts for peer teammates.
* Conducting/attending daily stand-up/status calls with customers.
* Improving/supporting to enhance the quality of project artifacts.
Requirements:
* B.E. or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in the automotive domain.
* Experience in system-level requirement writing.
* Strong knowledge of systems engineering, engine, powertrain domain, control systems, and performance control.
* Knowledge of requirement specification.
* Knowledge of engines and emission systems.
* Experience working in software/system development processes and methodologies in regulated industry areas (e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc.).
* Experience in model-based development.
* Exposure to MATLAB/SIMULINK tools.
* Knowledge of model-based design/auto code generation.
* Analytical ability and strong debugging skills.
* Basic knowledge of M scripting.
* Experience in the automotive domain is preferred.
* Hands-on experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK tool usage.
* Experience in CAN, SPI, UART, or I2C protocol and CAN-related tools.
* Hands-on experience with PTC Integrity Tool or equivalent.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Self-driven and adaptive personality, performing as both project leader and individual contributor as the situation dictates.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Program design skills and coding best practices.
