Electrical Design Specialist Opportunity
We have an exciting career opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing gensets fueled by diesel and natural gas for the North Americas region.
Your expertise will be crucial in providing engineering shop support and conducting maintenance activities to solve complex technical problems, ensuring regular production meets customer delivery dates. You will work closely with multiple engineers, expanding your professional network and developing an understanding of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering shop support for generator sets 40 kW – 750 kW manufactured in PSB.
* Introduce ICAs (Interim Corrective Action) and PCAs (Permanent Corrective Action) to protect committed ship dates.
* Support generator sets throughout the product life cycle.
* Resolve PSB engineering quality issues and support quality initiatives.
* Update designs of current products, components, and systems to meet customer requirements and process partners' capabilities.
* Work with regulatory experts to maintain certification requirements such as CSA, UL, and IBC.
* Engage operations and supply chain to optimize designs for cost, quality, and assembly.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Pre-Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred Skills:
* Genset product knowledge.
* Understanding of UL, CSA, NFPA, NEC, and IBC requirements.
* Troubleshooting experience.
* Experience using Creo and Teamcenter.
* 3-5 years of design experience.

* This position requires working on-site five days a week.
