Regulatory Researcher Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Research Analyst to join our team of experts.
This fully remote role involves researching and tracking global trade regulations – primarily across LATAM and North America – and providing valuable insights that help keep SAP GTS systems up to date for clients worldwide.
The analyst will act as the primary point of contact for new legal and regulatory changes and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and ERP/GTS specialists.
Client interaction is minimal; the role focuses on research-oriented tasks.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Stay informed about legislative and regulatory updates in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and local experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when necessary.
* Ensure research and documentation meet ISO process standards.
