Job Responsibilities:
* Lead a talented group of engineers in the development of cutting-edge blockchain solutions.
* Cultivate a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
* Support the growth and development of team members through mentorship and coaching.
* Participate in recruiting and onboarding processes to build a diverse and high-performing team.
* Oversight of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
* Collaboration with the CTO and Product Manager to translate product roadmaps into actionable engineering plans.
* Management of delivery timelines, resources, and technical dependencies to ensure timely releases.
* Proactive identification and removal of blockers to maintain team productivity and alignment.
* Establishment and enforcement of engineering best practices across code quality, smart contract security, and infrastructure reliability.
* Promotion of scalability, security, and performance in blockchain and microservice-based environments.
* Advancement of modern DevOps practices (IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated testing).
* Staying current with emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and DeFi developments to guide innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 7+ years of software development experience, including 6+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
* Familiarity with blockchains such as Ethereum and other blockchains preferred.
* Familiarity with DeFi trading a plus.
* Software engineering background in frontend and backend services development.
* An understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments.
* Experience in modern software development practices such as infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD and containerization.
* Proven success leading technical teams through the full product lifecycle in Agile or startup environments.
* Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or C#).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to balance technical depth with people management and cross-functional alignment.
