Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to join our team during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Windows environments, troubleshooting system and network issues, and administering core Microsoft infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Active Directory Management
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
* Windows Services Configuration and Troubleshooting
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
* System Performance and Connectivity Issues
Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
* Collaboration and Documentation
Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
* Experience in Windows System Administration
Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Active Directory Knowledge
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
* Technical Skills
Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
* Communication and Teamwork
Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
* Good Communication Skills
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft Certifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
* Remote Desktop Support Tools
Experience with remote desktop support tools.
* Scripting and Automation
Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
