About the Role
Alcoa is seeking an IT Automation Analyst to join the Alumar team in São Luís (MA). The role involves providing Level II support for existing control systems, interacting with the global support chain, and assisting users with report and application design. The ITAS (IT and Automation Solutions) team aims to provide IT support at the plant, including managing the IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and backing local and global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide IT support for control systems, acting as the local contact to ensure system availability and resolve issues.
* Ensure compliance with IT service level agreements (SLAs) and global standards, working to meet these objectives.
* Serve as the point of contact with area clients, providing reports, updates, and supporting new IT initiatives.
* Maintain and manage local IT assets, keeping inventories up to date.
* Support compliance activities and assist during IT audits.
* Support local IT projects, providing reports and troubleshooting issues.
* Provide on-call support for operational needs.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Solid experience with Process and Information Systems in operational plants.
* Knowledge of SQL Server databases (basic administration, backup/restore), reporting tools like Power BI and SSRS.
* Problem-solving skills, urgency, and a customer-focused approach.
* Advanced English (reading and writing); conversational level is a plus.
* Availability for occasional work outside regular hours.
