* Conduct and manage full research process from planning and scheduling to execution and synthesis.
* Lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback and information to vet and refine designs.
* A strong bias for action and scrappy attitude toward the product development process is required.
* You will work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial.
* Help establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library.
* Contribute to the overall brand experience--create and maintain brand and marketing materials.
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Fluent in English.
* You are a problem solver and learner with good taste in visual design.
* A strong portfolio with concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces is required.
* Strong proficiency with Figma and ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
* Experience designing for similar users is preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals).
Work Arrangements
The team is distributed, but generally located in North and South America. Flexible work hours are offered, with regular meetings expected. The expectation is to be available to collaborate during general daytime hours. Collaboration tools include Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion.
Interview Process
* Please submit your LinkedIn profile and/or resume, including a portfolio link.
* An asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* A small project: Spend 2 hours on a task, given product context, to come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience addressing the problem. Present your project during a 1-hour interview with leadership.
* Follow-up interviews may be requested to address unresolved questions.
