Key Responsibilities:

* Work effectively with Technical Product Managers to own & ensure delivery against agreed priorities.
">
* Build high performing teams by attracting, hiring, retaining and coaching top talent.
">
* Grow team and guide the career development of team members, including both technical and interpersonal skills necessary for being effective and successful in a professional software engineering organization.
">
* Provide systematic and direct individual performance feedback focused on recognition of achievement and opportunities for growth.
">
* Owning cloud services end to end, delivering distributed systems using AWS services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development.
">
* Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
">
* Outstanding professional software engineering experience with work on managing engineering teams.
">
* Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solutions from design through delivery.
">
* Very good understanding of one or more of Go, Java, Kotlin, NodeJS and other modern programming languages.
">
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical teams across different product areas.
">
* Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, open-source technologies and frameworks.
">
* DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability
">
* Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and a broad array of AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo, etc.
">
* Familiarity with common compliance frameworks that impact software development: FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2, and more.
">
* Experience in Travel Technology domain is a plus.
