Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and controlling taxation analysis and country tax management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all preliminary tax obligations for branches are met, including calculation of amounts and forecasting with treasury.
* Prepare work papers for the quarterly provision process.
* Responsible for preparing monthly account reconciliations.
* Participate in investigations and field audits, prepare analyses and other special jobs.
* Prepare and file profits tax returns, individuals' tax returns and other tax compliance matters.
* Take up ad hoc assignments.
* Responsible for the preparation of corporate tax returns for branches and subsidiaries.
* Responsible for the compilation of appropriate documentation to support filings.
* Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly calculation to support our monthly compliance commitments.
* Ensure the process is followed, including regular liaison with company policy.
* Ensure process documentation is updated after each annual filing.
* Work with the Assistant Manager to respond to tax office queries and audits in an efficient and timely manner.
* Involvement in cross-functional tax projects.
* Assist the Corporate Tax Manager with planning opportunities.

* Technical experience areas: administration, taxation, reporting and finance registration know-how.
* Computer systems: office and finance report system SAP, Cognos, etc. (user level).
Working Conditions:
100% performed in a climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.
