About This Position:
As a key account manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a territory focusing on strategic accounts. You will work closely with business partners to drive sales growth in new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Win new customers, renew contracts and expand business within your territory
* Achieve sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Present accurate forecasting for review
* Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline and bookings to provide forecast reports to management
* Establish relationships with local resellers and alliance partners on sales programs and joint activities
* Develop standard methodologies and account strategies to increase sales penetration into top accounts
* Engage with customers to identify and progress opportunities while delivering expertise on solutions
* Qualify and progress leads through the sales cycle to closure
* Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and competitive positioning
* Conduct regular training and communications for the sales and channel teams
* Contribute to the overall strategy by providing regional intelligence and reporting
* Apply subject matter expertise in training and other engagement activities
* Gather customer insights and share with stakeholders
