We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of urban and regional strategies that foster sustainable growth and resilience.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in regional and urban development, with expertise in areas such as urban planning, climate action, and social infrastructure.
They will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that address pressing challenges and capitalize on opportunities for economic development, disaster risk management, and social housing initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive urban and regional development plans, focusing on sustainable growth, climate action, and social infrastructure.
• Collaborate with international organizations, governments, and local communities to identify and leverage opportunities for development.
• Design and manage projects related to urban planning, disaster risk management, and social housing, ensuring alignment with international best practices and standards.
Requirements
• Master's degree or equivalent in Urban Planning, Regional Development, Environmental Science, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in regional and urban development, with expertise in urban planning, climate action, and social infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive solutions.
• Proficiency in English (CEFR C1 level) is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with EU, EIB, and WB financed projects.
• Familiarity with territorial governance mechanisms and partnerships.
• Knowledge of green buildings, urban infrastructure, and municipal utilities.
