Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team in Brazil.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem.
You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, converting design mockups into responsive, high-performance websites, and optimizing websites for speed, security, and scalability.
You will also troubleshoot, debug, and maintain multiple WordPress sites, collaborate using tools like Slack, ClickUp, and Notion, and manage local, staging, and production environments.
Your Profile:
* 5–8 years of professional WordPress development experience
* Advanced skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
* Deep knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem (custom post types, hooks, filters, ACF, WP-CLI, etc.)
* Proven ability to develop custom plugins/themes without page builders
* Experience with technical SEO, performance, and security best practices
* Proficient with Git and version control
* Highly autonomous, organized, and fluent in English (French is a plus)
