🎯 Your mission
Based in Spain, you will contribute to key automotive projects by ensuring the correct calibration, validation, and performance of electronic control units (ECUs), guaranteeing the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
* Perform ECU calibration by loading and applying calibration files (.hex, .a2l, .dcm) in vehicles or test benches
* Analyze and adjust key calibration variables related to engine management and software control
* Execute validation tests to ensure compliance with system requirements
* Use diagnostic and calibration tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, DiagRA, HIL benches, or dynamometers
* Prepare and manage ECU software (flashing, assembly, version control, and traceability)
* Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams for seamless system integration
* Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during calibration processes
* Prepare technical documentation and reports ensuring quality standards compliance
What we are looking for
* Degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ECU calibration, engine systems, or automotive electronics
* Strong knowledge of:
* Calibration files and processes (.hex, .a2l, .dcm)
* Automotive diagnostic protocols (OBD, UDS, CAN, LIN)
* Tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, DiagRA, HIL or powertrain test benches
* Calibration and software management tools (DAMA, DOORS)
* Fluent English (B2–C1 level), both written and spoken
* Team player, proactive mindset, and results-oriented attitude
* Interest in relocating to Valladolid, Spain
