We seek a Corporate Development Manager to develop strategic business relationships that lead to current and future M&A opportunities for Perseus. The role involves developing and managing an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM, creating market maps to build strong relationships in assigned software industry verticals, meeting and exceeding monthly M&A targets, working autonomously and with M&A leadership to qualify M&A opportunities, ensuring the lead database is allocated accurately, and qualifying opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel.
The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales or client-facing M&A/finance roles, a clear interest in developing a long-term pipeline of meaningful relationships, previous high-performance in Business Development, advanced verbal and written communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, and an extraordinary work ethic.
This role can be primarily performed remotely but may require occasional in-person travel to Canada, the US, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and/or Peru.
Key Requirements:
