Key Responsibilities
* Lead and guide a small infrastructure team across compute, storage, and network domains, ensuring alignment with technical goals.
* Coordinate infrastructure tasks, timelines, and dependencies, leveraging strong project management skills.
* Facilitate change windows, maintenance schedules, and upgrades with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication.
* Track and escalate risks, issues, and blockers with clear context and recommended actions, promoting swift issue resolution.
* Maintain accurate documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and technical teams, enhancing transparency and accountability.
* Support vendor coordination for hardware logistics, remote hands, and service delivery, streamlining business processes.
* Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols, upholding high standards of professionalism.
* Organize and lead team standups, working sessions, and stakeholder updates, cultivating a culture of collaboration and open communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3 to 5 years strong experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record of success.
* Experience leading infrastructure initiatives in hybrid or co-managed environments, showcasing adaptability and expertise.
* Solid understanding of servers, virtualization, storage, networking, DNS, and monitoring, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends.
* Proficiency with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet, demonstrating versatility and a willingness to learn.
* Strong communication and documentation skills, enabling effective collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to manage priorities across time zones and work independently, showcasing self-motivation and discipline.
