Key Account Manager Job Description


Established businesses are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Key Account Manager with a background in the travel industry, to play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic account planning, relationship building, and sales target achievement.



Responsibilities:



* Account Growth and Management: Develop and implement tailored account plans to meet and exceed sales targets, foster strong relationships with key clients, and identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.

* Client Needs Assessment: Conduct regular reviews with clients to understand their objectives, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their evolving needs.

* Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to maximize revenue generation by offering relevant products or services to existing clients.

* Business Intelligence and Reporting: Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions.

* Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with product development teams to gather client feedback and contribute to the creation of new products and services that meet emerging market demands.

* Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry developments, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.



Requirements:



* Proven track record in B2B sales and account management within the travel industry.

* Strong understanding of client needs, business operations, and market trends.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Results-driven approach with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
