Overview
We are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer with a strong graphic design background to create user-centric, high-performing digital experiences for the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate has experience working in agile teams, collaborating with developers, UX designers, and copywriters, and understands how design decisions impact ecommerce performance and conversion. This role will also support general graphic design needs across the company, including digital ads, social assets, presentations, and brand materials.
Responsibilities
* Design intuitive, user-friendly e-commerce layouts, landing pages, and website components
* Create, improve, and use wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, design systems, and user flows in Figma
* Collaborate closely with developers, copywriters, and UX designers to ensure design accuracy and usability
* Produce graphic design assets including banners, social media, email creatives, ads, and brand visuals
* Present work to internal teams across disciplines, and clearly explain design decisions
* Accept feedback, refine designs, and contribute to continuous improvement
* Support UI improvements for websites built primarily on the Shopify platform
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
* Five or more years of experience as a UI or UI/UX Designer
* Proven experience designing for ecommerce environments (Shopify experience strongly preferred)
* Deep experience in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
* Hands-on experience with wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows
* Understanding of basic front-end principles (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is a plus)
* Strong creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
* Open to objective feedback and committed to improving upon it
A portfolio review presentation is required for this role and should demonstrate both UI/UX and graphic design capabilities.
