The Senior Analyst, International Logistics, serves as a key strategic partner within the Raw Materials Procurement organization, responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost‑effective, and resilient movement of raw materials across the global supply chain. This role combines advanced data analytics with deep logistics expertise to design, optimize, and manage international transportation flows that support production, reduce total landed cost, and strengthen supplier and carrier performance. Serving as a boots‑on‑the‑ground contact, the Senior Analyst drives communication, negotiation, and alignment with both suppliers and transportation providers to ensure operational execution, strategic development and continuous improvement. The Senior Analyst maintains accurate inventory positions through accurate reporting of materials in the supply chain, identifies network inefficiencies, and develops improvement initiatives that enhance service, reduce risk, and support long‑term supply chain competitiveness. * Identify issues and trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement across the international logistics network to strengthen service performance and reduce total landed cost.

Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or
equivalent experience.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in transportation, international logistics, or
supply chain analytics, with a proven track record of success.
- Detailed knowledge of the North American transportation industry, including LTL, truckload, rail,
warehousing, cross-border, and airfreight
- Knowledge of standard transportation import and export procedures and USDOT requirements
- Advanced experience with transportation pricing methods and practices, customs entry
processes and brokerage/clearance requirements preferred
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial terms for both master transportation
agreements and ad hoc projects with carriers, brokers, customs brokers, and rail lines.
- Fundamental understanding of CHEP global operations and business segments preferred
- Thorough understanding of the CHEP network pallet flows and seasonality preferred
Skills and Knowledge - Business Acumen and Problem Solving: Apply knowledge of business rules and processes to
manage organizational tasks efficiently. Utilize strong time management and problem-solving
skills to address challenges effectively
Key Responsibilities May Include:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to support reliable and cost‑effective logistics operations.
* Recommend optimal Incoterms and transportation strategies by assessing risk, cost, and supplier capabilities.
* Monitor international shipments to maintain accurate daily visibility, escalating delays and risks and supporting timely resolution with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Analyze logistics and inventory flow data to identify variances, inefficiencies, and potential cost‑saving or performance‑enhancing opportunities.
* Prepare regular reporting and dashboards covering shipment status, carrier performance, costs, and inventory impacts to support decision‑making across procurement and operations.
* Support contract and carrier management activities by gathering performance data, documenting service issues, and contributing to review discussions.
* Maintain routing guidelines, documentation, and SOPs, helping ensure consistency and accuracy in transportation execution and compliance.
* Assist with root‑cause investigations into service failures or cost issues, coordinating inputs across carriers, suppliers, and operational stakeholders.
* Collaborate with planning, sourcing, operations, and transportation teams to ensure alignment on inbound flows, priorities, and risk areas.
