Job Title: Project Manager (Software Development)
About This Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced project manager to lead our software development projects.
* Leadership & Team Management:
o Leverage your experience in managing cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and alignment with project goals.
o Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
o Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
* Project Planning & Execution:
o Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on application/software development.
o Facilitate project status meetings, adjusting targets and schedules as needed.
* Microsoft DevOps Project Management:
o Configure sprints, backlogs, and work items within Microsoft DevOps for transparency and Agile alignment.
o Track user stories and epics, ensuring they are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with project goals.
o Facilitate daily stand-ups (scrums), sprint planning, and retrospectives for collaboration and improvement.
o Monitor burndown charts and other Agile metrics for timely delivery.
* Business Analysis:
o Perform business analysis tasks, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews.
o Define, document, and communicate business requirements to technical teams.
* Client Engagement:
o Serve as primary client contact, meeting needs and expectations.
o Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively.
o Ensure client satisfaction through project delivery that meets or exceeds requirements.
* Technical Oversight:
o Collaborate with Technical Architects for project designs aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
o Review and approve documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
o Stay updated on industry trends for strategic technical direction.
* Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
o Implement quality control processes for deliverables that meet required standards.
o IDentify and mitigate project risks, addressing potential challenges proactively.
