About the Role:
We need an elite video editor who understands direct response mechanics and can produce scroll-stopping ads at scale. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating persuasive short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that convert cold traffic into buyers.
Responsibilities:
1. Transform raw creator footage, UGC clips, and b-roll into compelling short-form ads and VSLs.
2. Craft hooks that stop thumbs in the first 3 seconds using pattern interrupts, bold claims, and visual glitches.
3. Deploy engagement disruptors: kinetic typography, callout graphics, progress bars, emoji reactions.
4. Optimize pacing for platform algorithms (Meta 9:16, YouTube Shorts).
Requirements:
1. Strong level of fluent English fluency.
2. 2+ years editing for DTC/eCommerce brands (beauty, health, or supplements ideal).
3. Portfolio demonstrating direct response ads that drove conversions.
4. Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve + After Effects.
