Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for Ball Corporation legal entities, liaising with external audit teams, tax, accounting teams, and external service providers.
The successful candidate will have functional leadership over the quarterly accounts reconciliation process, cross-segment cooperation, and stewardship on the operational effectiveness of SOX controls.
You will also play a crucial role in entity rationalization activities, including coordinating cross-functional teams, participating in the collection of historical data on legal entities, preparing interim and year-end statutory accounts, and keeping track of ongoing projects.
Additionally, you will take an active role in preparing supporting schedules for quarterly and annual footnote disclosures, especially in the area of derivative disclosures.
International coordination of statutory reporting requests, preparation of GAAP vs GAAP bridge files, and driving the collection and preparation of supporting information used in the preparation of statutory accounts and related disclosures are also key responsibilities.
Our ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in accounting or relevant work experience, with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience in accounting, preferably with a Big 4 background.
Certifications such as CPA or local equivalent are highly desirable. Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS/Local GAAP, US GAAP, month-end/year-end close and consolidation processes, integrated financial and ERP systems, general management techniques, and principles is required.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently and reliably.
