Design Lead for Complex User Interfaces
* This role requires a strong bias for action and scrappy attitude toward the product development process.
* You will take ideas from concept to completion, working closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and account for edge cases and error states.
* Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
About the Role
* Define and lead design experiences across three core products--web and mobile.
* Conduct and manage full research process from planning and scheduling to execution and synthesis.
* Lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback and information to vet and refine designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Create low-fidelity designs for user experiences that address specific problems.
* Present project results during 1-hour interviews with leadership.
* Work with engineers to establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library.
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Strong proficiency with Figma, with ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
* Experience designing for similar users preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals).
Interview Process
* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project, presenting your results during a 1-hour interview with leadership.
* 1-2 additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
