Job Overview:
The Digital Asset Specialist plays a crucial role in managing large-scale digital asset libraries, ensuring their integrity and scalability. This position requires a strong understanding of metadata models, taxonomy structures, and controlled vocabularies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organizing and managing large volumes of assets in enterprise DAM platforms
* Creating and applying consistent folder structures, naming conventions, and tagging standards
* Providing human-in-the-loop support alongside AI tagging tools for quality assurance
* Implementing governance policies and metadata best practices across teams
* Training marketers and content owners on structured DAM systems
* Familiarity with usage rights, compliance workflows, and content lifecycle management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in project management, communications, computational linguistics, or 3 years of experience in a similar field
* Program or project management experience with 3+ years
* Experience with training data creation for AI prompt development
* 3+ years of experience managing an extensive digital asset library
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to teach/train content governance and DAM operational policies
