Network Infrastructure Specialist
We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the field of network management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless LANs (WLANs) or software-defined WANs (SD-WANs). Key responsibilities include addressing, switching, routing, WiFi-related devices, Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Network Performance Monitoring (NPM), firewalls, content delivery networks (CDNs), load balancers, and network functions virtualization (NFV).
This individual will also oversee private networks and the internet, ensuring seamless communication between different departments. Additionally, they will assist in adopting monitoring and data collection tools to optimize network performance.
* Engineer or technologist with experience in local area networks (wired/wireless) management for more than 2000 virtual/physical devices and extended datacenter supporting critical business environments.
* Creative configuration scripting for new environments/troubleshooting/remediation scenarios.
* Cisco CCNA certification desirable.
* Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, testing, IMAC for access/border/core networks for Cisco/HP family.
* Knowledge of small/medium switches L2/L3, small/medium/large routers L3-L7 for access/edge/core, WLAN Cisco/HP.
* Coverage firewalls Palo Alto, SASE – apply policies/rules/group member/individual.
* Identification, testing, and building cabling CAT5-9, fiberoptics MM/SM.
* Testing for data communication radio & mobile access.
* Knowledge for NSX/Virtualization network.
* Active Directory/RADIUS/802.1x/MFA authentication.
* Palo Alto Firewall/Windows Jump Server configuration.
* Palo Alto VPN.
* Panorama and Cortex Management for large number of devices.
* Prepare, validate, and conduct change Management process.
* Capacity/Performance analysis (CPU, Mem, throughput ports).
* Good Communication skills.
* Fluent in English and Portuguese.
