About Sound Agriculture's LATAM expansion
After impacting nearly 1 million hectares in the United States with our flagship product, SOURCE, we are now launching TRIGGER in Brazil — a solution based on natural flavonoids that enhances plant–soil communication, promotes beneficial microbes, nutrient release, and root development, specifically designed for soybean cultivation and addressing local agronomic challenges.
The Role: Build the Future, From the Ground Up
As a Territory Sales Manager (TSM), you will lead the introduction of Sound's technologies in Brazil by building relationships with large growers, agronomic advisors, and strategic dealers. Your role covers the entire customer journey, from initial contact to long-term success, including developing distribution channels aligned with our standards and vision.
This front-line commercial position is responsible for sales, market development, and in-field performance. Success requires technical and commercial skills, regional knowledge, and ownership mindset. You will frequently travel within Mato Grosso, engaging with growers, consultants, and partners across regions.
Responsibilities
* Identify and build relationships with large growers and agronomic advisors.
* Map, onboard, and develop high-quality dealers aligned with Sound's standards.
* Maintain a strong in-field presence, leading sales and technical activities from day one.
* Train dealers on product performance and technical positioning.
* Represent Sound in the field, supporting technical positioning and validating results.
* Organize field days, technical events, and co-selling initiatives.
* Forecast performance and maintain discipline using CRM (Salesforce).
* Collaborate with internal teams to accelerate adoption and deliver value.
* Manage regional planning, budgeting, and execution with autonomy.
* Control sales expenses and local marketing funds according to guidelines.
Targeted Skills & Experience
* Degree in Agronomy or related field, with at least 7 years in technical field sales.
* Proven record of exceeding sales targets, preferably among top performers.
* Experience selling innovative technologies that create new markets.
* Ability to engage large, innovative growers and navigate complex sales cycles.
* Strong business development skills, understanding ROI and price-volume dynamics.
* Experience with post-sale technical support and customer retention.
* Experience with field trials and translating agronomic data into commercial value.
* Minimum 3 years of regional market knowledge and relationships.
* Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), digital platforms (FieldView, Ops Center), and data tracking.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Entrepreneurial, collaborative, self-directed, with high ownership.
* Intermediate English (or higher) required for global collaboration.
