We are looking for a full-time, remote Agentic Developer with 8+ years of experience in .NET, C#, Python, Node.Js, or similar to join our client's Web / Foundations Team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of our client's core web platform, a mission-critical SaaS system that supports real-world customer workflows across healthcare, legal, education, and enterprise environments. You will play a key role in building and enhancing core product capabilities while ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
In this context, agentic development refers to the structured use of AI
agents and LLM-powered workflows as part of the software development
lifecycle. This includes using agents to assist with design, implementation,
testing, debugging, and code quality while maintaining full ownership of
correctness and production readiness.
As a senior individual contributor, you will take ownership of systems end-to-end, influence architectural decisions, and help modernize the platform to meet growing business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, improve system performance, and elevate engineering standards. This is a high-impact position suited for engineers who think in systems, understand trade-offs, and can make sound technical decisions in a live, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain critical systems and services across the client's platform
* Develop scalable, secure, multi-tenant features and services used by customers and internal teams
* Build and maintain backend APIs and service-to-service integrations
* Contribute to modern web applications using Angular or comparable frontend frameworks
* Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and maintainability
* Help modernize legacy components while preserving stability in a live SaaS platform
* Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards, and engineering patterns
* Write and maintain automated tests
* Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving
* Mentor engineers and help raise technical standards across the team
* Participate in incident response and operational improvement as needed

Required Experience
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* 8+ years of experience in back-end development using C#, .NET, Python, Node.Js, or similar
* Proven hands-on experience using agentic tools and development workflows in day-to-day software engineering
* Experience building and maintaining SaaS platforms
* Experience building modern web applications using Angular, React.Js, or similar frameworks
* Experience designing and supporting APIs, integrations, and service-to-service communication
* Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, service-oriented architecture, or event-driven systems
* Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit and integration tests
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
* Experience using agents to support requirements clarification, solution design, code generation, refactoring, debugging, code review, and test creation
* Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs
* Experience applying test-driven development (TDD), test-first development, or similarly disciplined testing practices
* Experience with event-driven development (EDD) or asynchronous system design, including messaging, event flows, and distributed system behavior
* Strong commitment to code quality, maintainability, correctness, and attention to detail, including reviewing and improving agent-assisted output
* Experience applying secure coding practices and working within engineering workflows that include quality and security controls
