API Development Expert

As a senior API development expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing asynchronous APIs that gather and process data from a Data Lake. Your goal will be to ensure seamless integration with Appian solution.
\
This role requires strong technical skills in Node.js & TypeScript (backend development), API Design & Development (RESTful & event-driven asynchronous APIs), AWS Services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3, Secrets Manager), and Apigee API Gateway (management, security). Additionally, experience with Data Lake Integration (Athena, Glue, or equivalent) is essential.

You will also be expected to possess skills in API Security & Performance Optimization, CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins), Agile Methodologies, and JIRA/ Confluence.
\
We are looking for an individual who can collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and business teams, possessing strong problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as the ability to work in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
\
The ideal candidate should have strong documentation and API governance mindset, with advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
\
