Please submit your CV in English, as it will be reviewed by an international team.THE POSITIONResponsible for the successful implementation of the Media Operations & Services at all stadiums in Brazil for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027.Media Operations is a very important function in the organisation, as this area provides the services and conditions for all media to report about the competition to millions of viewers, listeners and readers around the world.Reporting organisationally to FIFA Zurich HQ Lead Media Operations & Services, the HoD Media Operations & Services will be a key member of the FIFA27 Operations team, and work in close collaboration with Venue Management, Team Services, Competition Management, Media Partnerships, Host Broadcast Operations, Host City Rights Management and other key individuals responsible for planning, delivering and managing Media operations & Services for the more than 2000 national and international media expected to attend the FIFA Women's World Cup. Success with this project will contribute favourably to the positive outcome of the Women's Football Strategy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for detailed planning and implementation of media facilities & services in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 stadiums based on the FIFA HQ MEO strategy.Manage and contribute to the Senior Media operations manager and Senior Media services workDefine functional area's Entity budget requirements and finalise budget reviews.Manage, contribute, supervise the implementation of the scope and delivery of media-dedicated services, including technology, accommodation, accreditation, catering and transport.Contribute and supervise the implementation of the media-dedicated spaces and flows, in all competition and non-competition venues in collaboration with other key functional areas.Liaise with the Host Cities to define media-dedicated areas and services.Engage with local and international media to support the requirements needs and ensure the delivery of operations is set to the highest standards.Define and implement a rate card solution for International News Agencies and other key media outlets in coordination with technology.Organise relevant workshops and meetings (media workshops, agency visits etc.)Hire and deploy event-time staff – in coordination with FIFA Zurich HQ - Venue Media Managers & Venue Media Coordinators - in the various stadiums, managing all logistics and administrative tasks.Event-time, manage and coordinate the venue media staff & services for all matches across the various venues.Define and contribute to the information tools and supports (FIFA Media app content, media guide) for media in general, potentially other target groups on operations and servicesSupport the FIFA Media Department & Local Entity with media operations & services during events.Contribute to the promotion of the tournament supporting FIFA and Local Entity departments involvedManage planning, preparations and fulfilment of inspections to the FWWC 2027 stadiums and various other locations where media will be workingParticipate in the development and management of trainings, workshops and production of information for media-related workforce and volunteersOrganises media conferences, media days and other media activitiesOversee and deliver a complete and detailed reporting of media operations and services progress to the FIFA Zurich responsible.YOUR PROFILEBachelor's Degree or equivalentHigher education qualification in media or sports event management5+ years' experience in the sports industry, with an emphasis on media operations (broadcast is a plus)5-7 years' experience in sports project management, preferably in footballFluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plusProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration toolsRight to work in Brazil.Fluent in English (spoken and written)Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.About FIFA Women's World Cup 2027The FIFA Women's World Cup is the greatest women's sporting event on the planet, showcasing the best players in the world on the biggest stage.
