Job Description:
As a skilled Windows System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Active Directory, configuring and troubleshooting Windows-based services, and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Your expertise in DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Windows environment.
* Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
* Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
* Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
* Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
* Experience with remote desktop support tools.
* Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
