WHO WE ARE AND WHAT YOU WILL DO

The BIM Analyst II - Marketing and eCommerce, North America will work to align processes and technologies, enabling NA Marketing business strategies.
They will partner with the North America Papers (NAP) marketing, product, and brand teams, serving the business by improving processes and systems.
This involves conceptualizing, justifying and leading a variety of small to large size IT projects and finding innovative uses of emerging technologies.
Key business partners and customers:

- North America Papers Marketing, Brand, and Product Teams
- Sylvamo Customers
- IT Functional Groups
- North America Commercial Excellence IT, Manager
- NAP BIM teammates

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Engage in proactive partnerships with business and IT colleagues to:

- Understand business strategies, priorities, direction, challenges and opportunities
- Utilize concepts of Commercial Excellence to improve the commercial operations of our organization, and enable our business partners to provide superior service to our customers, and gain and retain a competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Proactively and suggestively "sell" and deliver IT improvement ideas, to help facilitate the attainment of the business strategy, overcome business challenges and capitalize upon business opportunities for improvement
- Identify Innovation proof of concept opportunities within NA Marketing
- Manage a variety of small to large projects:

- Work with business partners to develop requirements, scope, and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements
- Identify, define, and assess options through independent research and collaboration with IT partners
- Coordinate testing, change management, training, and deployment activities
- Track progress, communicate milestones, and resolve issues
- Design, Lead, and execute proofs of concept to quickly determine viability of success.
Provide expertise and guidance to team members to validate design assumptions
- Define functional requirements
- Test solutions and provide updates regarding viability of solutions
- For viable proofs of concept, facilitate the initiation and rapid implementation of projects or enhancements to a formal production solution

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Strategic**:

- Builds relationships with business partners and engages with both business and IT colleagues in the identification and structuring of solutions to ensure alignment with their requirements
- Understands business and supporting functional group strategies, priorities, direction, challenges and opportunities
- Understands what is important to stakeholders when weighing options and making decisions
- Proactively and suggestively "sells" and delivers IT improvement ideas that align with and help facilitate the attainment of the marketing teams' strategies
- Drives collaborative IT/Business solutions which further enhance the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of NAP's marketing processes and systems

**Customers**:

- Develops relationships and collaborates with business partners to create value for Sylvamo customers
- Seeks out innovative uses of either existing or emerging technologies that can add business value and enable our business partners to provide superior service to our customers and gain and retain a competitive advantage in the marketplace

**Operational Excellence**:

- Ensures that business partner needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with the team and appropriate managers
- Understands and works within the framework of a variety of project methodologies and the IT Operating Model
- Provides business, process and/or IT support to solve technical problems as needed
- Understands the nature of proposed business process changes and helps business partners drive appropriate change management
- Acts as a liaison with the business/process owner and Information Technology to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions and services to the business.
- Analyzes complex process flows and identifies opportunities to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency
- Proactively networks with IT teams and external sources in search of technologies t
