System Architect Role
We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the development and maintenance of propulsion system communication files.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain communication protocols in accordance with project requirements.
2. Analyze and resolve complex network issues related to propulsion system communication.
3. Administer and improve our Networking Process, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
4. Manage document releases, ensuring conformity and quality in file generation processes.
5. Collaborate closely with engineering counterparts, including Chief Engineers, COE Leads, and System Architects.
6. Work with the Simulation team to integrate network data into simulation environments.
7. Interface and coordinate with Electrical Engineering (EE) Networking teams regarding production and prototype file development.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from a reputable university
* Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience with Controller Area Network (CAN)/LIN communication systems development and standards
* Experience with Propulsion System communication architectures and controllers
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of Agile Methodology
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Good understanding of CAN/LIN interfaces
Technical Tool Skills:
* MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW
* Vector CANalyzer, CANoe
* IBM Rational DOORS
* Decent knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols
