We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Research Specialist to join our team. As a fully remote Regulatory Research Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and tracking global trade regulations across LATAM and North America.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
You will track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.).
Your key responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries.
* Tracking global trade compliance regulations and interpreting, analyzing, and documenting new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Preparing comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
* Ensuring research and documentation meet ISO process standards.
You will work closely with Business Analysts and fellow researchers to validate findings and maintain consistency. Additionally, you will support research expansion into Indirect Tax topics where applicable.
