Role Summary:
Lead L3 functional support for SAP FICO & Central Finance (CFIN). Manage complex incidents, financial posting issues, CFIN replication errors, and ensure stable, accurate, and compliant financial operations across global business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as L3 escalation point for SAP FICO/CFIN issues across GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Banking
* Troubleshoot complex CFIN SLT/AIF replication errors, mapping issues, and data mismatches
* Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes & process improvements
* Support financial closing cycles (month-end/quarter-end/year-end)
* Analyze and resolve posting issues, reconciliation variances, and document splitting problems
* Coordinate cross-functional integrations (MM, SD, HR, Concur, Treasury, External systems)
* Handle change requests, impact analysis, regression testing, and release readiness
* Review financial interfaces, IDocs, reports, and system controls
* Collaborate with Finance, Audit, and IT teams to ensure SOX/IFRS/local compliance
* Guide L1/L2 teams, update SOPs, and ensure quality of documentation.
* 7–10+ years in SAP FICO, with 1–3+ years in Central Finance (CFIN)
* Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Tax, Banking, and reconciliation flows
* Hands-on experience with AIF, SLT replication, mapping logic, and CFIN posting rules
* Good understanding of IDocs, interfaces, and cross module finance processes
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Familiarity with ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
