Key Responsibilities:
The role involves analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives. This includes evaluating business problems, assessing the potential for automated solutions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements, systems integration, and technology solutions that address the needs of business partners.
Data Analysis:
Analyze business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide insights to business and IT leaders, supporting informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include executing unit, integration, and acceptance testing for systems that align with business needs, recommending solutions or improvements to business processes, and providing coaching, review, and delegation of work to lower-level professionals.
Leadership and Expertise:
Recognized as a subject matter expert in the sub-function, typically achieved through advanced education and work experience. The role involves managing large projects, processes, products, and systems with limited oversight from management, addressing IT-related problems that are difficult and moderately complex, and serving as an expert within the discipline.
Qualifications:
Required: Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience. Skills in communication and stakeholder management, data analytics and reporting, data cleaning, structuring, and management, capacity management and prioritization, business/insurance acumen, and IT processes and systems are essential. Exceptional verbal, analytical, and written communication skills are also required, with the ability to speak and write to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
