Your Role
* As a Data Scientist, you will be at the center of strategic projects that directly impact clients and operations. Develop predictive and prescriptive models, perform exploratory analysis, and lead data-driven initiatives to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and tune supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning models.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
* Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and preparation.
* Build PoCs (Proofs of Concept) to validate solutions.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics (precision, recall, F1-score).
* Support the transition of models to production, focusing on reproducibility and scalability.
Required Expertise
* Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
* Proficiency in Python, including mastery of Pandas, Scikit-Learn, StatsModels, PySpark, and knowledge of Keras, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
* SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
* Strong understanding of statistics: descriptive statistics, diagnostics, probabilistic distributions, and hypothesis testing.
* Experience with code versioning using Git.
* Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
* Familiarity with deploying and monitoring models in a cloud environment.
Preferred Experience
* Experience with Big Data frameworks: Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Java, and/or C++.
* Knowledge of statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, or Knime.
* Background in Visual Recognition and Computer Vision techniques.
* Experience with Mathematical Programming/Optimization: CPLEX, Gurobi, Matlab.
