The Managing Director of Renewable Energy Operations will lead a team in sourcing, cultivating, and closing deals for renewable projects, executing strategic investments, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leadership and Management: Train, lead, and inspire a team of finance professionals to achieve business objectives.
* Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring renewable energy projects in targeted global markets.
* Financial Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and rigorous due diligence to assess the viability, risks, and returns of potential investments.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including project developers, financial institutions, and government agencies.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, policy changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, and extensive experience in renewable project development, investment banking, and private equity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to think strategically.
