Patent Paralegal Project Manager Job Description
Our ideal candidate will oversee and manage patent filing requests, working closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery. This full-time, remote position requires proficiency in English and the ability to commit to a standard work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Our team seeks a skilled patent paralegal project manager with experience in preparing documents for patent applications, initiating responses to official communications, filing patent applications, and monitoring deadlines.
1. Preparation of Patent Documents: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all necessary documents for EP, PCT, and foreign patent applications.
2. Communication and Response: They will proactively initiate responses to official communications and notifications, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
3. Patent Filing and Correspondence: The patent paralegal project manager will coordinate the filing of EP/international and foreign patent applications, as well as related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
4. Deadline Management: They will monitor all assigned cases and proactively ensure that all related deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Essential Skills and Required Experience:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced patent paralegal project manager with strong leadership and management abilities. Our ideal candidate will have:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills
* SIGNIFICANT experience managing complex projects
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be advantageous:
* Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance
* Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations
