Mobilize services at conclusion when appropriate." Conducts thorough social work assessments of adult clients both in the adult's home or off-site location when necessary. Determine strengths and needs to develop service plan. Complete required documentation in accordance with program specific requirements. Works with a variety of social supports to assure needs are being met." Court documentation and testimony may be necessary in some program areas. Ability to work with service providers and medical providers to assure adult's needs are met." Considerable knowledge of family and group dynamics and a range of intervention techniques. Considerable knowledge of governmental and private organizations and resources in the community. Considerable knowledge of behavioral and socio-economic problems and their treatment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative superiors, families and children, and civic, medical, social, and religious organizations. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively; and ability to learn and be proficient in the use of the Family Services computer system.Work Environment / Physical RequirementsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
