About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position that involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of all requests within scope and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing all documents required for EP, PCT and foreign applications.
* Initiating responses to official communications and notifications in a proactive manner.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring all assigned cases and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* The ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skill in training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skill in vendor recruitment and negotiations.
