Patent Paralegal Project Manager

This role involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests. You will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities include coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate should have proficiency in English (spoken and written) as you will be working with English-speaking teammates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing all documents required in connection with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Proactively initiating the preparation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitoring all assigned cases and proactively ensuring that all related deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
* Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities.
* Significant experience managing complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
