**Government Account Manager, Brazil Sales Public Sector**


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Account Manager to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share in a defined territory and industry vertical.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives. They will also have experience developing detailed go-to-market plans and building profitable partner ecosystems.

As a Government Account Manager, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop compelling value propositions around AWS services. You will also be responsible for accelerating customer adoption, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and managing contract negotiations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and industry vertical.
* Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
* Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
* Accelerate customer adoption.
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
* Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
* Manage contract negotiations.
* Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
* Ensure customer satisfaction.

**Requirements:**

* 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
* 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
* Ability to speak English in a business setting (both spoken and written).
* PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience, experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
