The ATS Sorting Center Learning Coordinator is responsible for leading the day-to-day learning process and staff of an assigned shift within a single Amazon Sorting Center facility.
This role requires a deep understanding of sortation processes, safety protocols, and workforce management to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe execution of sorting activities.
The Learning Coordinator collaborates with the Sorting Center Site Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, address operational challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.ATS is seeking a Learning Coordinator to support Middle Mile expansion by implementing scalable solutions to guarantee process quality and drive standards adoption.As a Learning Coordinator, your responsibilities include leading onboarding and proficiency programs, driving process standardization and improvement, performing quality audits, and measuring metrics that enhance customer experience and performance within the delivery network.Key ResponsibilitiesOnboard Amazon Associates to familiarize them with Amazon systems and tools.Create training materials for teams and new ATS programs.Lead training sessions and support ATS SC launch activities.Mentor Amazon Leadership in lean principles and promote adoption of standard work processes.Support network-level excellence in Six Sigma and Lean practices through process design, metrics, and system usage.Leverage Best at Amazon (BAA) practices to support process improvements and standardization.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBA is a plus.Management experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution environments.Experience leading, teaching, and developing teams to achieve organizational goals.Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics.Cross-functional project management experience.Process improvement experience using Kaizen and Lean tools.Experience with performance metrics communication.Advanced English proficiency.Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts as needed.Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.Experience with Learning Management Systems and content development (preferred).Certifications in Six Sigma and Lean (preferred).Ability to influence others without formal authority.Adaptability to changing priorities and stressful situations.Innovative problem-solving skills for process challenges.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results.
