We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team. The role will involve designing and developing risk applications and tools for a leading international hedge fund.
About the Role
* This is a key position in our development team, responsible for building systems for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, market data providers connectivity etc.
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in Python, a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques, a good understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies.
* He/She will be responsible for the design and development of various applications, including those for traders, risk management, and reporting.
Skills
* Must have:
o A strong understanding of data quality principles.
