Short-Form Video Ad Scriptwriter & Editor Role
We're seeking a creative professional to manage the end-to-end creative process for short-form video ads. This encompasses researching target audiences, crafting compelling scripts that capture attention, editing fast-paced and visually appealing videos using AI-powered tools, and delivering high-quality results while continually refining processes and iterating on daily insights.
* Meet daily deadlines for scriptwriting and video editing.
* Establish a repeatable workflow leveraging AI technology for increased efficiency.
* Demonstrate expertise in researching US consumers and writing in natural, conversational English.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop engaging ad scripts (UGC style, narration, simple scenes, impactful hooks).
* Conduct market research on audience needs, language preferences, objections, comments, and competitor ads.
* Edit videos in CapCut or similar software and deliver finished assets ready for launch.
* Utilize AI tools to generate footage, b-roll, voiceovers, captions, and variations efficiently.
* Create multiple iterations: new hooks, openings, pacing, visuals, and organization.
* Maintain organized deliverables (folders, versions, naming conventions, notes).
Requirements:
* A portfolio showcasing viral videos, ad creatives, or short-form edits.
* Strong English skills and ability to write like a native US consumer.
* Fundamental understanding of basic copywriting principles: hook, problem, proof, offer, CTA.
* Ability to edit quickly in CapCut or similar software while maintaining tight pacing.
* Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for creating videos at scale.
* Mobility and willingness to learn rapidly, prioritizing output and results over comfort levels.
