Academic Operations Coordinator, US K-12 School

This role requires direct experience managing academic operations inside a US-accredited or American curriculum school. Candidates from ESL programs, bilingual schools, or Brazilian curriculum environments, even at the coordination or leadership level, are unlikely to meet the baseline for this position and will not be considered.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼
You'll own WorldEd's academic operating system, keeping daily school operations running with discipline and consistency while supporting instructional quality, compliance, and the Principal across all critical functions.
* Manage academic calendars, schedules, substitutions, and coverage plans to ensure continuous and reliable school operations
* Monitor attendance, grading flow, and engagement;
proactively identify and resolve operational blockers before they escalate
* Conduct regular classroom observations using structured rubrics and deliver actionable instructional feedback to teachers
* Lead professional development sessions aligned with WorldEd's pedagogical model and instructional improvement priorities
* Track academic and operational KPIs, run performance reviews, and translate data into concrete action plans
* Support accreditation compliance with Cognia, College Board, NCAA, and the US State Department through documentation and reporting
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿
* 3+ years managing academic operations at a US-accredited or American curriculum school, with working knowledge of US curriculum frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to manage school-level operations: scheduling, routines, substitution coverage, and execution follow-through
* Strong instructional judgment, including experience observing classes and providing structured feedback to educators
* High data literacy: ability to read academic and operational metrics and drive evidence-based decisions
* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary academic teams in a hands-on, high-accountability environment
* Fluent English, written and spoken

* Your school experience is in ESL, bilingual, or Brazilian curriculum environments, with no direct exposure to US-accredited academic operations
* You are most comfortable in curriculum design or advisory roles and find it difficult to sustain the operational tempo of day-to-day school management
* You prefer handing off problems over owning them through resolution
