S. -based real estate investment firm managing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties across multiple states. We operate with an AI-first mindsetleveraging automation, data intelligence, and modern technology to drive operational excellence, scalability, and long-term sustainability. Efficiency isnt optional here. Its embedded in how we work. Were building something different. A company where people take ownership, where systems replace chaos, and where the right person in the right seat can have an outsized impact. Thats what this role is. About the RoleYoull serve as the right hand to the Director of Operationsproviding direct administrative, operational, and financial support while acting as the accountability engine that keeps everything moving forward. This is not a take notes and schedule meetings role. This is a role where you own systems, chase down loose ends, flag whats falling through the cracks, and push back when things arent getting doneincluding pushing back on the person you report to. The Director will be the first to tell you: hes a big-picture operator, not a details person. He needs someone who fills that gapsomeone who tracks every commitment, follows up relentlessly, and isnt afraid to say Hey, this still isnt done and it needs to be. If that sounds like you, this role will give you more autonomy, exposure, and impact than most EA positions ever will. You should be highly organized, financially literate, tech-savvy, and comfortable using AI tools daily to multiply your output and improve workflows across the organization. What Makes You DifferentWeve titled this section intentionally. Were not looking for a generic set of skillswere looking for a specific type of person. The right hire has these qualities baked into who they are:Youre a Self-Starter. You dont wait for a task list. You look around, see what needs to happen, and do it. When you run out of assignments, you go find the next problem to solve. Downtime is your enemy. You Take Initiative. You dont ask Should I do this?you do it and report back. You bring solutions, not questions. You anticipate needs before theyre communicated. You Have Relentless Follow-Through. Nothing falls off your radar. If something was promised by Tuesday, youre checking on it Monday. If a vendor said theyd send an invoice, youre following up. You close every loop, every time. You Hold People Accountable. This is the big one. Youre not afraid to hold your own boss accountable. If he said hed review something and hasnt, you follow up. If a deadline is slipping, you flag it. You do this professionally, respectfully, and firmly. You understand that accountability isnt confrontationits how things actually get done. Youre Tough When It Matters. You know when to nudge and when to push. You dont let things slide because its easier. You care enough about the outcome to have the uncomfortable conversation. Youre the person who makes the people around you better by refusing to let standards slip. Youre Committed to Your Own Growth. Youre not just looking for a jobyoure looking for a trajectory. You invest in yourself personally and professionally, and you want to work somewhere that does the same. At Carbon, as the company grows, you grow with it. The Director genuinely cares about developing his people and believes that when you win, the whole team wins. A note on availability and boundaries. This role requires a willingness to be responsive to after-hours communications when they come up. Things move fast in real estate and sometimes decisions cant wait until morning. That said, the Director respects boundaries and prioritizes work-life balance. You wont be expected to be on-call 24/7but when something urgent comes through, we need someone whos willing to engage.
