ABC Fitness is looking for a strategic, results-driven Director, Digital Growth (SEO, Web Strategy) to own and scale our global web ecosystem. This role is accountable for driving organic growth, demand generation, and conversion performance across our digital properties while delivering a best-in-class user experience.
You will lead website strategy, SEO/AEO, CRO, and analytics across a portfolio of five websites, with a critical mandate to consolidate these properties in the next year.
This role partners closely with Growth, PPC, Brand, Marketing Ops, Content, and external agencies to turn intent into pipeline through scalable, conversion-focused web experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Digital Discovery Strategy (SEO + AEO)
Own SEO & AEO strategy across traditional search and AI answer engines (Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.)
Define topic authority, comparison strategy, keyword and category leadership by Segment (Gym, Studio, Coach), Sub-Segment (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise) and Region.
Build and maintain the organic demand roadmap tied to ICPs, buying stages, and intent signals
Partner with development agencies to implement technical SEO improvements.
Partner with Content, Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to shape what gets created, not just how it ranks.
Website as a Demand Engine
Own the website’s role in the demand system, including: ICP pathways, mid-funnel and evaluation-stage content, proof and credibility moments
Define the information architecture and narrative structure that guides buyers through the messy middle
Partner with the Sr. Manager, Website & Optimization on: CRO priorities, Landing page strategy, Conversion and proof modules
Ensure the site supports segmented GTM motions, not one-size-fits-all journeys
Paid, Organic Demand & Pipeline Impact
Be accountable for non-paid demand contribution (MQLs, SQLs, CPSQL efficiency)
Collaborate closely with PPC and Demand teams to build and optimize paid search landing pages (Google Ads, Capterra, and other paid channels).
Align SEO/AEO and website strategy to: highest-value ICPs, In-market and switcher intent, demand quality, not just volume
Website Portfolio & Cross-Functional Leadership
Own and manage a portfolio of five websites with varying tech stacks and hosting environments.
Lead major initiatives including website redesigns, re-platforming, language packs, and be able to lead the eventual consolidation of all sites into a single website.
Act as the strategic bridge between: Content, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Website & Optimization
Translate GTM priorities into clear digital execution plans
Ensure seamless execution, mínimal disruption, and strong governance throughout large-scale web initiatives.
Analytics, Reporting & Forecasting
Define success metrics for digital beyond traffic: Share of voice (search + AI), Evaluation content engagement, Assisted conversion impact
Partner with Analytics and Growth to: Attribute organic influence properly and separate signal from noise in early-stage demand
Use insights to continuously refine strategy and investment
Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform growth strategy and investment decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
10+ years of marketing experience, with 5+ years managing high performing teams across digital marketing and website management roles.
Must be fluent in English and Portuguese
Proven expertise in SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical) and CRO.
Strong experience managing WordPress-based websites and third-party hosting platforms (e.g., WP Engine).
Deep comfort working with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Salesforce) and translating data into business decisions.
Demonstrated success leading complex web initiatives (redesigns, re-platforming, consolidations).
Strong project management skills with experience leading agencies and cross-funct
