What you will do
* Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for Pricing platforms that serve multiple countries, ensuring scalable, reliable and high-quality deliveries
* Drive execution and delivery across pods (squads), ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines
* Act as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, removing impediments and improving team flow and predictability
* Partner closely with Product, Architecture and other engineering teams to define and evolve solutions
* Support developers\ ' career growth through regular feedback, performance evaluations and development plans
* Promote engineering excellence, ensuring adoption of best practices in software design, observability, and reliability
* Hands-on with monitoring, code review, configuration tasks and deploy
* Support and guide the team on technical decisions when needed, being a strong partner for senior engineers
* Ensure systems are designed for scale, resiliency and performance in a distributed microservices environment
* Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and DevOps mindset
What we are looking for
* University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
* Previous experience leading backend engineering teams
* Strong experience with Java ecosystem and backend development
* Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures
* Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
* Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.G., New Relic or similar)
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration and event-driven architectures
* Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns and best practices
* Experience with testing strategies (unit, integration, automation, performance)
* Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
* Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have
* Experience working with high-scale systems across multiple countries or regions
* Experience with pricing, e-commerce or financial domains
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams
